Q: How do I get an encrypted sdcard0 that used to mount on this rom to mount again? After a successful upgrade to CM10.1 (cm-10.1-20130527-NIGHTLY-i9100.zip) the system worked fine.

Sdcard0 & sdcard1 were both visible & writable within android & accessible via USB on a win7 machine. Camera worked and apps installed on sdcard0 fine. After encryption, things were still fine. Cell connection stopped working (a recurring issue for me with CM9 & 10, not intended as a slight on CM just what I've experienced with my i9100 & CM, nearly everything else about CM beat the socks off the stock rom which is why I stick with it) I rebooted and now the sdcard0 doesn't mount. Sdcard1 mounts fine, is visible & writable on my Win7 machine.

Jul 22, 2013  I tought a stock ROM will help, so i found a tutorial and with Odin3 v1.85 i've put this rom GT-I9100_XEU_I9100XWLP7_I9100XXLPS_I9100XEULP5.tar.md 5 with the pda button. Of course the phone turn on and freeze on the S2 logo, than went on MENU+VOL Up+power, and did a whipe and turned on the phone.

I've tried various commands to get sdcard0 mounted including the following from. Code: ## Vold 2.0 Generic fstab ## - San Mehat () ## ####################### ## Regular device mount ## ## Format: dev_mount ## label - Label for the volume ## mount_point - Where the volume will be mounted ## part - Partition # (1 based), or 'auto' for first usable partition. ## - List of sysfs paths to source devices ###################### # internal sdcard dev_mount sdcard0 /storage/sdcard0 11 /devices/platform/dw_mmc/mmc_host/mmc0/mmc0 nonremovable, encryptable # external sdcard dev_mount sdcard1 /storage/sdcard1 auto /devices/platform/s3c-sdhci.2/mmc_host/mmc1 # USB storage device dev_mount usbdisk0 /storage/usbdisk0 auto /devices/platform/s3c_otghcd/usbI tried flashing to the latest nightly (cm-10.1-20130602-NIGHTLY-i9100.zip) on the off chance that this would be fixed. Didn't fix it. Since I've successfully written to sdcard0 after encryption I'm convinced (foolishly?) that I should be able to get it remounted with the right commands but I don't know what they are. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a similar problem, though I'm not sure if it's related.

CM10.1 20130601 nightly, stock kernel; I encrypted my device fine, then found out the emmc/sdcard0 plainly disappeared when rebooting. Completely undetected/gone from the Storage settings screen aside from the lone header, didn't manage to mount manually, and reformatting it to vfat didn't help, either.

I'll chime back if I ever find something. EDIT: Didn't fish a lot of useful stuff out of a logcat, unfortunately. It pretty much fails to find a FS on the Vold block device and gives up. Flashing back to non-encrypted won't reset the partition, which will remain a 12 GB brick of unusable space; at least, until you format it back to vfat, either through Odin or through a compatible mkfs.vfat. Here are lines which caught my interest.
